A PETITION TO ATEN THE GLORIOUS GOD

Praise be to you Aten, who are greater than all the heavenly beings, you who are more glorious than all the mighty ones, you who are hidden in the Horizon.

I ask you to grant to me a path where I may pass in peace, for I have lived according to your precepts; I have not spoken lies knowingly, nor have I done acted deceitfully.

Praise be to you, who with long strides walk above in heaven.

Praise be to you, O Everlasting One, you who dwell in the Horizon; you are Lord of all.
